A 38-year-old woman has filed a complaint of stalking, extortion and sexual assault against a former senior colleague.
She claims that he assaulted her in India and continued to harass her even after she moved to Australia with her husband and two children.
The police have filed a case for causing hurt, rape, cheating, and criminal intimidation against the accused.
The woman says that she met the accused at work.
They were in the same department, but he was based in Hyderabad. She often had to communicate with him as that was required in the job.
She says that he soon started discussing his personal life with her and discusse his difficulties at home.
She said that one day he visited her and assaulted her after mixing a drug in her drinks.
He threatened to leak her videos and when she refused, he began blackmailing her.
Even after she moved to Australia, he followed her and threatened to kill her.
